Going to see Katrina...

we are leaving tomorrow!  First we are going to stop and visit my mom's friend.  She has horses and goats and dogs and cats.  We are going to stay in a hotel on Friday night and then at Katrina's on Saturday night.  I haven't seen Katrina for 2 1/2 yrs!  This is one of the best times we had playing in a mud hole with Katrina's little brother Tristen!

Snowy Bug

We saw this VW Bug on our trip to the Poconos the other weekend for me to see snow! I had not seen snow for 6 1/2 years. Mom made a wrong turn at one point, but without that wrong turn we would not have found this bug!

My new friend Katie!

I went to 4-H on Monday night. It is called the Furry Friends club. We did not bring Oliver with us, but lots of kids brought their rabbits and guinea pigs. At the table behind us was a mom, girl and her rabbit. He was a very cute rabbit, his name was Steamer. Katie and I talked about the rabbit and stuff during the meeting and then after we exchanged numbers and email. We had fun getting to know each other this week in chat and on the phone. On Friday I went to her house. It was fun. On Saturday she went with us to the carnival. We had a really good time! Katie is the first new girl my age that I have made friends with since we got back to PA. I'm the one on the left. We both made the same sand art bear!

Social Studies Essay

I had to write a Social Studies essay about Islamic art. We had to pick a piece of art and describe it in our essay. I also had to be able to reference where I found this art in my list of sources. Since the example that I chose was a fountain in Morocco, EPCOT that my mom took a picture of, I am posting the picture here!

Books I'm Reading - Warriors

I have found a series of books that I LOVE. Is the Warriors series by Erin Brown. These books are about clans of cats. I am almost on the 4th book of the first series. My mom is so happy I found these books, because I never really liked to read books before. When I HAD to read certain books for school, I rarely found ones that really interested me.

Punch Buggy and Cracker Barrel

Mom and I were going to enroll me in virtual school on Wed and I saw this punch buggy color combo that we did not have, so she pulled into the parking lot and I took the pictures. We realized as we were getting ready to drive away that someone was sitting in the car. I thought she was going to chase us to figure out why we were taking pictures of her car!

After we went to Connections Acad., we stopped at my favorite place to eat, Cracker Barrel. We have not been to one since we moved. I love their steak, mashed potatoes and corn!
